Ski pass prices – how to benefit from dynamic pricing
In the upcoming 2024/2025 season, you can once again look forward to 104km of perfectly groomed Aletsch Bahnen AG pistes complete with 35 transport systems – no matter the weather, we'll make sure you get the best out of the snow conditions!Skiing on the Aletsch plateau is an appealing and varied experience – not just because of the great views, but also because of the good value for money. With the exception of the four-hour and one- or two-day ski passes, the prices in the new season are the same as last year. Our dynamic pricing model means that the earlier you book, the cheaper the price will be. Weather conditions have no impact on the price.
Children under 16 can hit the slopes for free on Saturdays. Owing to high demand and the corresponding high number of people making use of the offer, the “Schgi fer fri” promotion is no longer available on Saturdays for young people aged between 16 and 20. However, young people will still enjoy a 15–20% discount on adult tariffs. And, as before, the third child gets to hit the slopes for free.
Enjoy advantages by booking early. Numerous guests have already recognised the benefits of dynamic pricing. Though there won’t be an online discount in the coming season, the price savings are marginal compared with the benefits of booking early (“enjoy advantages by booking early”). Booking early means avoiding the queues and heading straight to the slopes to start your skiing fun. Our moderate dynamic pricing model sets prices on the basis of actual operating and procurement costs, as well as the quality of the product.
Only the prices of the four-hour and one- or two-day ski passes will increase slightly. With the price range 5% higher and the online discount now gone, our day passes excluding feeder lift now cost between CHF 53 and CHF 81 (previously CHF 75). Booking early therefore still pays off.
Season pass for frequent travellers. The set-price season pass is the cheapest option for our regular guests. The price of this season’s pass is unchanged: CHF 385 for children, CHF 580 for young people and CHF 770 for adults (excluding feeder lift). A season pass lets you enjoy the pistes without any pressure, giving you the freedom to hit the slopes more frequently and more spontaneously – even for just two to three hours at a time. We also recommend this option to the few users of the multi-day tickets for 15–21 days, since these are being cancelled owing to low demand.
Feel free in the Aletsch Arena.
We take sustainability seriously. As a car-free high plateau, we use renewable energy to cover 100% of our electricity requirements and in 2024 were recognised as the most eco-friendly ski resort by skiresort.ch (skiresort.ch).
SkiCare and Passprotect
Aletsch Bahnen offers you the chance to add on ski pass insurance when you buy your ski pass or season or annual pass. You can choose between “SkiCare” and “PassProtect” when booking in the webshop or at the Aletsch Arena ticket counters. “SkiCare” (CHF 5 per day extra) covers the reimbursement of ski passes, ski rental and ski lessons in case of accident, illness or adverse weather conditions (less than 5 lifts in operation) as well as the cost of rescue, transportation and treatment in the event of a skiing accident. “PassProtect” (CHF 3 per day extra) covers the reimbursement of ski passes, ski rental and ski lessons in case of accident, illness or adverse weather conditions (less than 5 lifts in operation).

Ski passes including and excluding feeder lifts
Whether it’s a day trip, a short break in the valley or a skiing holiday on the Alp, the Aletsch Arena ski passes are tailored to your needs and so are available either with or without the feeder lifts (from the valley to the Aletsch plateau). If you’re spending your skiing holidays on the plateau and only need the feeder lifts on arrival and departure, you can book the multi-day ski pass that excludes the feeder lifts. If you’re staying overnight in the valley and use the feeder lifts daily, we recommend the ski pass that includes the feeder lifts. The GA Travelcard is valid on feeder lifts from the valley to the plateau.
Family discount: free tickets for the third child onwards
Families benefit from attractive discounts when buying family ski passes during their holidays in the Aletsch Arena. The pass for the third child and each additional child up to 15.99 years of age living in the same household is free of charge – regardless of whether one or both parents are present. The pass must cover the same time period. Package deals are excluded from the offer.
If parents or a babysitter are taking turns to look after small children under 6 years of age, they can use the same ski pass (1–14 days). The pass is only valid with an ID.
