In 1953, the side of the first Blausees ski lift on the Riederalp still ran over simple wooden poles. On 5 December 2015, the latest version of this lift opened in the Aletsch Arena: the Moosfluh combined glacier lift. The two-section lift is not only impressive in terms of its innovative design - it was built in such a way that geological subsidence can be compensated for at any time thanks to special constructions at the middle and top stations. A technical masterpiece. The new combined lift offers winter sports enthusiasts the option of travelling up the Moosfluh in either gondolas (summer and winter) or chairs (winter only). In summer, guests also have the option of getting on and off at the Blausee middle station. More comfort is hardly possible.
