When snowshoeing, wear several layers of breathable clothing (the ‘onion principle’) to let you respond flexibly to the weather and warmth from all the exertion. We also recommend warm, at least ankle-high boots with sturdy soles as well as a cap, gloves, scarf, sunglasses or ski goggles and sun cream. Round this off with a change of T-shirt, something to drink and a light snack.
