Skiing in the Aletsch Arena

Perfect conditions for sporty skiers

The Aletsch Arena is the ideal destination for sporty skiers looking for ambitious challenges and perfect snow conditions. With slopes at over 2,000 metres altitude, the region offers guaranteed snow from December to Easter and consistently excellent skiing conditions. From the ski areas around Riederalp, Bettmeralp and Fiescheralp, you can enjoy the awe-inspiring vista of the Great Aletsch Glacier, which is the largest glacier in the Alps and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Surrounded by 40 majestic four-thousand metre peaks, this unique panorama offers a dazzling spectacle with around 300 days of sunshine a year. A particular highlight for sporty skiers is the spectacular black slope from Eggishorn, which offers thrills as well as breathtaking views of the monumental glacier. Or the incomparable Glacier Panorama Tour, where the Great Aletsch Glacier likewise presents itself in the best light. The car-free resorts of the Aletsch Arena – Riederalp, Bettmeralp, Fiescheralp – make the skiing experience even more convenient: with ski-in/ski-out, you can access the slopes directly from your hotel or chalet.
