Up to the sunny plateau and back: the beautiful circular tour through Valais villages and up to the Aletsch Promenade will thrill you with its grandiose panoramic vistas and utterly pleasurable mountain biking!

The tour starts at the public transport hub in Fiesch. Cycle through the village and follow the unpaved road to Lax. From the Deischbach, follow the Martisbergerstrasse up as far as Ritti, where you turn left onto the forest road. Passing the hamlet of Egga, you cycle to Betten and on to Goppisberg. The trail now climbs in long serpentines – past the hamlets of Bodu, Gstalji, Bina and Biel – up to Riederalp. From there, head east along the Aletsch Promenade to Bettmeralp. At the cable car station, switch to the downhill road that takes you to the hamlet of Domo. There, you take the forest trail that turns off to the left and cycle through Baderwald Forest to Martisberg, where the descent towards Fiesch begins: after the first hairpin bend, an easy single trail branches off to the left and rejoins Martisbergerstrasse after a short while. Or if you prefer, just stay on the paved road. Once in the valley, cycle back to Fiesch along the main road.

Hint: This bike tour is also suitable for E-MTBs, but it will take you less time than suggested. Our Tour Portal lets you calculate the time required.
