Would you like to get to know the world of trail running? Then the trail running base camp for beginners is just right for you. Spend three intensive days with lots of input and even more sporting activity in the unique landscape of the Aletsch Arena and you will start your trail running career with plenty of new know-how - whether you want to go for relaxed runs in the mountains or dream of taking part in a competition. Intensive running sessions will be combined with regular breaks for practical lessons and to practise what you have learnt.

Suitable for: beginners or experienced runners aged 18 and over
Requirements: fitness for at least 60 minutes of continuous running on flat terrain, stamina for ascents of 400 - 600 metres in altitude in around 60 minutes.
Equipment: trail running shoes with soles for off-road terrain (road running shoes with smooth soles are not suitable), trail running rucksack, trail running waistcoat or similar with space for weather protection and food, trail running poles (optional), functional clothing for running in different temperatures and weather conditions, thin hat and gloves.
