It's the dream of every winter sports enthusiast: to be the first to carve over the freshly prepared «white carpets»! With our First Track offer, this is possible.
 
At 8:00 you go from the Bettmerhorn gondola valley station to the Bettmerhorn. There you experience the early morning hours of a new ski day and first enjoy the breathtaking view of the Great Aletsch Glacier.

An offer for sporty and relaxed skiers 

From 8 January 2025 

We offer two groups accompanied by experienced ski instructors. The first group is for sporty skiers and enjoys several runs before regular opening times. The second group is about experiencing the beauty of nature and the ski instructor shares interesting facts about the Aletsch Arena and the Great Aletsch Glacier on the descent. After an impressive experience on the slopes, both groups take the gondola lift back up to the Bettmerhorn.

From 19 March 2025 

Due to the adjusted, earlier start of operations (8:30 instead of 9:00), there will only be one First Track descent. 

The red slope on the Bettmerhorn is only suitable for advanced skiers. The skiing level must be at least Red Star for children and level 4 for adults.

Another option is when it comes to breakfast  

If you have booked the «First Track Pur» experience and have already had breakfast, the entire variety of slopes will be open to you from 8:30. For those who have booked «First Track with breakfast», a rich breakfast awaits you in the cozy atmosphere of the Bättmerhitta until 10:00. Afterwards, you can return to the slopes with fresh energy.

The cable car ticket Bettmeralp - Bettmerhorn is not included in the booking. All participants must be holders of a valid ski pass and the additional booking of the First Track. Please purchase the ski pass in advance via Webshop or at one of the Aletsch Bahnen AG counters. NO sale of ski passes on the morning of the First Track!
