In winter the Aletsch region, which is a Unesco World Heritage site (Riederalp, Bettmeralp and Fiescheralp), is a safe, child-friendly skiarea.
For cross-country skiing in the Gomstal you can easily take the train.
In summer walk out of the chalet and there are many, well-signed hiking trails, including at the Aletschregion, Belalp, Bellwald, Saas Fee and Zermatt. In the chalet there is lots of information about the trails.
Golf / paragliding , mountainbiking is also possible in the nearby region .
After a busy day skiing / walking or hiking come back and rest in your comfortable chalet or on the terrace .
