The almost three-kilometre-long, flowing but natural descent leads from the Wurzenbord viewpoint to Bettmeralp. The location of the trail is ideal. The Wurzenbord chairlift takes mountain bikers on the right-hand edge of the village directly to the trail entrance at the Wurzenbord mountain station at 2,218 metres above sea level. The Aletsch Bahnen realised the trail together with Velosolutions. In the interests of sustainability, no construction machinery with combustion engines was used in the construction of the Flowtrail Wurzenbord and the impact on nature was minimised.
