Tracks in nature tell us a lot about the animals living here, even if they are not visible at the time. An attentive eye and a little practice allow us to discover even those animal tracks that are perhaps a little less obvious.
After a brief introduction to tracking, we set off on a hike in the Aletsch Forest. Always vigilant, we look for footprints, feeding tracks, feathers and other remains that tell us more about the animals of the Aletsch region and their behavior. We not only sharpen our powers of observation, but also learn to interpret the tracks.
Under the guidance of Verena Schatanek, biologist, nature educator, excursion leader and nature school teacher
