The longest glacier of the Alps in view

Anyone who stands on one of the four view points in the Aletsch Arena, Hohfluh, Moosfluh, Bettmerhorn and Eggishorn, often does so with their mouth open. The view of the 20 kilometre long Great Aletsch Glacier is truly a touching moment. The spectacular scenery, including views of 40 four-thousand-metre peaks, is one of the great highlights in the Aletsch Arena. It is not for nothing that the area is part of the Swiss Alps Jungfrau-Aletsch UNESCO World Heritage Site.

View Points in the Aletsch Arena

From the viewing platforms of the four view points Hohfluh, Moosfluh, Bettmerhorn and Eggishorn you can enjoy the most beautiful view of the longest glacier in the Alps, each from a different perspective. Additional power is provided not only by the breathtaking experience, but also by the fact that the view points are also places of power.

  • The temperatures are refreshing due to the altitude, the view points are spread all over the destination and are between 2227 and 2869 m above sea level. However, the weather is mostly consistent and the chances of a clear view are high.

Energy spots in the Aletsch Arena

A geological location in which the earth’s rays transmit a positive energy to the visitor: that’s the definition of an energy spot. The Aletsch Arena in Valais has always been home to several such ‘recharging stations’ for body, mind and soul. This was proved not to be hocus-pocus through measurements performed by natural energy specialist Philippe Elsener. The Hohfluh, Moosfluh, Bettmerhorn and Eggishorn view points in particular are ideal places to recharge your inner batteries. The unobstructed views of the magical Great Aletsch Glacier intensify the effect too, no doubt. On Bettmerhorn and Eggishorn there are also signposted energy spots waiting to be discovered. Sculptures and information boards invite you to consciously experience the energy spots named “Harmony”, “Clarity” and “Pleasure”.
